About
Neroli essential oil, or orange blossom essential oil, is derived from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) tree. Widely believed to have been named during the 16th century for Princess "Anne Maria de La Tremoille" of Nerola town, who fell in love with the striking fragrance and introduced it to her homeland. The oil itself has been used since the days of the ancient Egyptians. Neroli essential oil itself had been used for centuries before the princess discovered it, of course. Popular since the time of Ancient Egypt
